1. General
By accessing and placing an order with Sol & Selene (solandselene.com.au), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions. Sol & Selene is an Australian owned and operated small business based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
2. Products
All Sol & Selene products are handmade in small batches using 100% natural ingredients. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in colour, texture and scent may occur between batches. These variations are a natural characteristic of our products and not considered a fault.
Our products are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Results may vary between individuals.
3. Orders
By placing an order you agree that all information provided is accurate and complete. Sol & Selene reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion. You will be notified promptly if your order cannot be fulfilled and a full refund will be issued.
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed and a shipping notification once dispatched.
4. Pricing
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Sol & Selene reserves the right to change pricing at any time without notice. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you will be charged.
5. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept all major credit and debit cards and any additional payment methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely.
6. Shipping — Australia
We ship Australia-wide via Australia Post or a comparable carrier. Standard shipping timeframes apply and are estimated only — Sol & Selene cannot guarantee delivery dates once an order has been dispatched.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. Sol & Selene is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or other carriers, customs, natural events or circumstances outside our control.
7. Shipping — International
We ship internationally to selected countries. International shipping costs and estimated delivery timeframes are calculated at checkout. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes and import fees charged by your country — these are the sole responsibility of the customer. Sol & Selene has no control over customs processes and cannot predict delays caused by customs clearance.
Sol & Selene is not responsible for orders held or seized by customs authorities.
8. Returns and Refunds
Due to the handmade and perishable nature of our skincare products, Sol & Selene does not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind purchases.
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, if your product arrives damaged, faulty or significantly different from what was described, you are entitled to a remedy. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at hello@solandselene.com.au with your order number and photos of the issue. We will assess your claim and offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
We are not responsible for products damaged during transit due to international shipping conditions or customs handling.
9. Allergies and Skin Reactions
Our products contain natural botanical ingredients. We recommend reviewing the full ingredient list before purchase, particularly if you have known allergies or sensitivities. We recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin before first use.
Sol & Selene is not liable for any allergic reactions or adverse skin responses resulting from the use of our products. If you experience a reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on solandselene.com.au including text, images, graphics, logos and branding is the property of Sol & Selene and is protected by Australian copyright law. No content may be reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission from Sol & Selene.
11. Privacy
Sol & Selene respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect only the information necessary to process your order and will never sell your data to third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sol & Selene's liability for any claim arising from the use of our products or website is limited to the value of the product purchased. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
